Schools Equipped with Naloxone

School nurses are on the front lines of the opioid crisis affecting teens nationwide. Some school districts, such as those in Monroe County, including the Stroudsburg and East Stroudsburg areas of Pennsylvania, passed new regulations which allow school nurses to carry and administer Naloxone. This allows them to provide acute care when it’s needed most.

Doses of Naloxone were Administered by EMS from Jan. 2018 -July 2023
